Users who want to use EEC to generate schematics and 3D assembly layouts through the platform systems will benefit from the uniform versions. The coming release will premiere at SPS IPC Drives and be released as Version 2.4. The consistency of the configuration across all engineering disciplines, including mechanics, electrics and software, makes forward-looking mechatronic configuration possible.Īlong with the name change, the EEC version number will be synchronized with that of the Eplan Platform.

In EEC One Version 2.4, combined with EPLAN Pro Panel, predefined 3D assembly layouts and more flexible control systems have reduced the time needed for the virtual configuration and assembly of mounting levels in control cabinets. Just in time for SPS IPC Drives 2014, the new version of EEC One is being released under a new name – EEC now stands for EPLAN Engineering Configuration.
